General Information / Band Trip Payment #4 Due - February 1, 2011 - $121.25

San Antonio or Bust...

In reward for all of the hard work and positive attitudes that will be demonstrated by our Timberview Band students we are providing a trip for the students wishing to participate in the Directors Choice Music Competition in San Antonio Texas.  Students will attend Sea World, Schlitterbahn and Fiesta Texas.
           
This trip will take place on May 13 - 15th, 2011.  The trip cost is $485.00 per student and per chaperone.  Remember this is not a required trip so this is optional.  By signing the attached form you are committed to paying the above mentioned fee on each due date.  Each payment is non-refundable!
 
Payment #1 Due Date - October 4th, 2010 - $121.25
 
Payment #2 Due Date - November 1st, 2010 - $121.25
 
Payment #3 Due Date - December 1st, 2010 - $121.25
 
Payment #4 Due Date - February 1st, 2011 - $121.25
 
It is important that all payments are made on time!  If you wish to pay the full amount up front or make future payments on an earlier date that is ok.  However, everyone interested in attending this trip must make the first payment of $121.25 by October 4, 2010.  By not making the first payment of $121.25 by October 4, 2010, you are opting out of going on the trip.   
 
REMEMBER THERE ARE NO REIMBURSEMENTS!  ONCE PAYMENT IS MADE YOU MAY NOT RECEIVE A REFUND OF ANY KIND.
 
The fee covers the charter bus, Fiesta Texas, Schlitterbahn, Sea World, the performance venue and all meals except one.  Students will need to bring money for all other activities on the trip such as: extra food, games, souvenirs, pictures and any other items.

Announcements / THS vs Arlington Lamar HS, 09-03-10, 7:30pm-AWAY-Cravins Field

Dear Parents/Students:


The Timberview Band will be traveling to Arlington, TX along with the Varsity Football team who will challenge the Lamar Vikings to a grueling match of wits.
 
Below is our schedule for this game: 
2:30PM    Release from school
2:35PM    Pickup Pre-Paid Meal from Band Hall (meal deal order form)
4:15PM    On Practice Field for Run Through
4:50PM    Uniform Up & Inspection
5:35PM    Depart from Timberview
6:10PM    Arrive @ Cravins Field (See attached directions to field)
7:05PM    Pre-Game Activities
7:30PM    Kick-Off
10:00PM  Approximate End of Game
10:05PM  Load Trailer
10:30PM  Depart for Timberview
11:00PM  Student Pick-Up
 
If you are concerned about your child or you having a meal before departing for the game, please complete the attached meal deal form to ensure proper food ordering for you and/or your child.  Food will be delivered and distributed to respective parents/students at 2:35PM.  If your child is not allowed to leave campus to eat, you can always deliver food to your child or they can bring their own food as well. 
 
Please remember to pick up your children on-time in front of the Performing Arts Center (no later than 11:00PM) as we will not be staying late to supervise them.  Arrangements have been made with MISD Police to supervise your children at their office located behind Willie Pigg Auditorium.
