Wolf Marching Band itinerary for Timberview vs. Lancaster High in a District 14-5A contest at MISD R.L. Anderson Stadium, 1015 East Broad Street, Mansfield, Friday, September 26th at 7:30 p.m. (We are the home team, seating on the West side, opposite the large press box).
2:55 p.m: Students are released from school. Change into show shirt, thin athletic shorts, marching band shoes and black socks and move to practice lot for run through. Colorguard dress according to Mr. Agustin’s instructions.
3:30 p.m: Performance run through on back lot
4:30 p.m: Dinner for all band members (all students will stay at the school, be nice to volunteers, and clean up after yourselves!)
5:30 p.m: Inspection in band hall. Students must have all above clothing, flip folder with name clearly marked, lyre, THS water bottle, and all music in order to travel and perform with the band and “pass” inspection.
6:00 p.m: Load buses outside THS band hall and leave for RL Anderson Stadium
6:15 p.m: Arrive at RLA Stadium, unload and move into stands for warm-up
7:30 p.m: Kickoff……Go Wolves, beat the Tigers!
10:15 p.m. approx: Game ends……Load buses and band truck for return to THS
10:45 p.m. approx: Students return to band hall for quick meeting and go home (we will instruct students to call parents when we leave the stadium each week)
11:00 p.m. approx: All students need to be picked up promptly in front of Timberview High PAC. Tomorrow is a marching contest day so get home and rested for Saturday. (Please do not block driveway and fire lanes waiting for your student. Park in marked spaces only. This creates a big bottleneck and safety issue in the PAC parking lot!).
***Don’t forget all students are back at THS Band Hall at 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning for our 1st Marching Band Contest at the Mansfield Preview of Champions Marching Contest. This will be all day at Vernon Newsom Stadium in Mansfield.***
