The Timberview Drumline will perform at the HEB Drumline Clinic and Contest on Saturday. We can use a few more adults, men or women, to help with unloading of the trucks and with helping to get the instruments and auxiliary equipment on and off the field during the competition as there are time limits to get set-up and to exit.
Will we probably be using box truck as we did not find a CDL driver to drive the THS Band tractor-trailer, so unloading and loading will take a little longer.
If you can help with loading and unloading or getting the equipment on and off the field this Saturday that would be appreciated. We will load the trucks around 10:30 a.m. at THS Saturday morning, unload at HEB around 1:15 p.m. and then move into the stadium around 3 pm for our performance and then re-load the truck around 4 pm. Thanks for your consideration. Contact Mr. Neimeyer, Percussion Director or Mr. Carter, Pit Crew Coordinator, or Mr. Mackey, if you can help. Their e-mail address are listed under the contacts drop down on the Timberview Band Website.
****We still have a need for a CDL licensed driver for Saturday, September 13, HEB Drum Line Contest , all day at Pennington Field in Bedford and for other upcoming band games and events. Please contact Doyle Mackey, as listed below, ASAP, if you can help! Thank you****
The Timberview Band Parents Booster organization is in need of volunteers’ with a CDL license to help drive the Timberview Band Truck to football games, marching band contests and Drum Line contest this season. Most events happen on Friday evenings and Saturdays during the fall season through the end of the football season and the playoffs. We only have a coupe of events later in the marching season that would require someone to drive the truck on a week night for UIL competition.
The tractor/trailer is an important part of our band operations as we haul all the band instruments, the large percussion instruments’ and Xylophones, band majors stands, electric generators, the props and more to make our marching show a success. We are fortunate to have a large truck like this to haul all of our band gear in one trailer.
If you are a qualified tractor/trailer driver with a current CDL license we would greatly appreciate your help with this urgent need. This does not mean you have to drive every weekend, we are interested in talking with you even if you can only volunteer for a few events. We would like to have more than one CDL driver available so we can spread out the assignments and for emergency fill-ins.
If you can help or know of a qualified CDL driver that would like to volunteer their driving skills and services to the Timberview Wolf Band for the 2014-15 season, please reply to this e-mail or contact our Band Booster President, Doyle Mackey at: email@example.com or call 817-271-2153 at your earliest opportunity.
Thanks for your consideration and support of the Timberview Wolf Band!!
