Wolf Marching Band itinerary for Timberview vs. Arlington High at UT Arlington Maverick Stadium, 1309 West Mitchell Street, Arlington, Friday, September 13th at 7:30 p.m. (We are on the visitors side).
Friday’s Detailed Agenda:
2:55 p.m: Students are released from school. Change into show shirt, thin athletic type of shorts, marching black shoes and long black socks, and move to practice lot for run through. Colorguard dress according to Mr. Livar’s instructions.
3:30 p.m: Run-through on back lot
4:30 p.m: Dinner for all band members (all students will stay at the school, be nice to volunteers, and clean up after yourselves!)
5:10 p.m: Inspection in band hall. Students must have all above clothing, flip folder with name clearly marked, lyre, water bottle, and all music in order to travel and perform with the band and “pass” inspection.
5:45 p.m: Load buses and leave for UTA Maverick Stadium
6:30 p.m: Arrive at stadium, unload band truck and move into stands for warm-up
7:30 p.m: Kickoff…Go Wolves, beat the Colts!!
10:30 p.m. Approx: Game over, load band truck and buses and head back to THS Band Hall
11:00 p.m. Approx: Students return to band hall for quick meeting and go home (we will instruct students to call parents when we leave the stadium each week)
11:15 p.m. Approx: All students need to be picked up promptly. (Please do not block driveway and fire lanes waiting for your student. Park in marked spaces only. This creates a big bottleneck and safety issue in the PAC parking lot!). Pick up only in the front of the PAC building, not the band hall. Please be timely!
REMINDER: Saturday is the THS Drumline performance at the HEB Drumline Contest at Pennington Stadium in Bedford. Percussion members must be at THS Band Hall at 9 a.m. THS will perform on the field at HEB at 2:50 p.m. Come out and support the Wolf Drumline and our first competition of the year!
