All Timberview Wolf Band parents, students, supporters and friends, we still have some open slots we need to fill for the TNT Fireworks Winter/New Year’s fundraising shifts at the Mansfield Supercenter. Sunday, December 22nd is Timberview Band’s first shift schedule work day. Please click on the link below for our shift calendar and the open slots we need volunteers to help. The shifts are only 3 or 4 hours long, so please consider just one shift to help us out.
Sign-up on the Volunteer Spot website: http://vols.pt/kdbv5j
We still have a cashiers position open from 2-6 on December 22nd. There are a few other positions open as well. We also need more help on December 28th and the final work shift on December 31st. A cashier, Assistant Floor Manager and other positions need to be filled + some on-call slots for fill-in.
For those who are working but have never worked TNT before, please show up about 20 minutes early so that we can make sure you have taking the safety training. Everyone who is working this season, please try to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your assigned shift and by all means call Anita Meyer if something comes up or you are sick and cannot make it! We receive financial deductions from our fundraising shares for each missed or unfulfilled shift we fail to cover!!
Remember, this is our largest fund raising opportunity during the band year and we really need your help. There are four schools that will participate including Legacy, Lake Ridge, Summit and Timberview. Please access this website, look at the date and times and if you are available please sign up. There are times for adults only and time slots for either a student or an adult.
If you are available to sign up for any of these available slots the band would really appreciate it. Don’t forget you can have any family member who is over 13 work and your child will get the credit for the hours (just make sure when they sign in they write down the Wolf band student that they are working for to receive the credit hours).
During the New Year season there are days when it is extremely slow. It is ok to bring a book, cards, or electronic device. Louis is very, kind and does understand that it does get slow at times so he is fine with a friendly card game or texting, as long as things are put up as soon as a customer is spotted in the parking lot. Our first priority is to sell, if we don’t sell, we don’t make any money.
If you have not been to the Mansfield TNT Fireworks Supercenter it is located on FM 1187 on the far west side of Mansfield.
Head west on Debbie Lane which will become FM 1187 after you go past the MISD Bus facility and Donna Sheppard. Continue west a few miles and the TNT Supercenter will be on your right at 7501 Rendon Bloodworth Road, Mansfield, Texas, 76063.
