We have normal band rehearsals Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. and on Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, September 10th at 6 p.m. is the THS Band Parents Boosters Board of Directors Meeting followed by the Band Parents Boosters General meeting a 7 p.m. for all band parents, students and supporters of the Wolf Band. You may attend and observe the Board of Directors meeting if you like, but we encourage all parents to attend the general meeting at 7 p.m. The meeting is generally very quick and should be concluded by 7:45 p.m. The meetings are very informational and you will find out about ongoing band activities, upcoming events and special fundraising activities in addition to brief reports from each of the board directors and coordinators. Remember, you can earn one credit just for attending as part of the official volunteer activities to earn credits to reduce your students activities fees for the year. Come to find out more information on Tuesday and to support your Wolf Band.
Remember, if you took any photo’s of the band performance at the Hebron game or general pictures of the Wolf band members and activities, please submit them to email@example.com for consideration to be posted on the website home page.
Friday, September 13th, is our first away football game and marching band performance as the THS Wolves travel to UTA Maverick Stadium to take on the Arlington High Colts in a 7:30 p.m. contest. Game day details and agenda will be posted on Thursday.
The week wraps up with the Timberview Drumline and Percussion Group performing at the H.E.B. Drumline Clinic & Contest at HEB ISD Pennington Filed in Bedford on Saturday, September 14th. Details and schedule for the Wolf Drumline performances will be sent out later this week. If you haven’t been to a drumline contest before, please consider coming out to support the THS percussion group as they perform and then are judged and rated against approximately 12 other high school drumlines.
