MISD Project Graduation Fundraising Volunteers Needed

MISD has assigned the Timberview Band three parking lot duty shifts for the upcoming graduations that will be held at the MISD Center For The Performing Arts, 1110 West Debbie Lane in Mansfield on Saturday, June 8, 2013. This does not interfere with the Timberview Band Graduation which is on Friday night June 7th at 7 p.m.

Timberview Band Fundraiser Shifts for 2013 Project Graduation Parking Lot duty are: Summit High (10 a.m.); Mansfield High (3 p.m.) and Legacy High (8 p.m.).

Parking Lot duty begins one hour before graduation service and lasts until 30 minutes after the start time: Actual volunteer times will be approximately 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for Summitt; 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for Mansfield; 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for Legacy.

We need 25 volunteers per graduation shift and each volunteer the THS Band Parents Organization will pay $25.00 per shift to go directly to your student’s Charm’s Band account for the 2013-2014 school year. You can get paid for helping and this is a very large fundraising event for the Timberview Band Parents Organization.

Please contact Doyle Mackey, THS Band President, to confirm how many shifts you can work on June 8th. You can work one shift or all three if your schedule allows. Band Parents, Band Students and friends of the band can volunteer for these shifts and you will only need to designate which band students Charm’s account that you want the funds credited to.
