Who We Are & What We Do

Marching Band

All Timberview High School Band students are part of marching band, working to create live, visual and musical performances throughout the marching band season; they also play at THS football games. Fall is considered marching season.

Concert Band

Students are placed in one of three performance bands (band placement is determined by audition at the start of the fall and spring semesters) and play several concerts throughout the academic year. This is also one of the classes on their school schedule. Concert season occurs after marching season has ended and goes through the spring to the end of the school year.

Percussion

Percussion students play with both the marching and concert bands and also at their own events and concerts. They are under the direction of Coordinator of Percussion, Daniel Neimeyer.

Color Guard

The Color Guard performs alongside the marching band in competitions and at football games. Cologuard combines equipment (such as flag, mock rifles, and sabers) along with dance and other movements. The Color Guard/Winter Guard director is Matthew Apodaca.

Winter Guard

After marching season, the color guard program changes to Winter Guard (made up of a mix of color guard and band students, by audition). THS Winter Guard focuses on performing indoors and in competitions with other winter guard teams.
